Dark souls 3 endings neogaf12/25/2023 ![]() ![]() I'm going from what I can see on my phone but it doesn't look like any Elizabeth at the baptism is missing her pinky finger. Booker's Elizabeth is not present at the baptism scene. All that remains are the realities where Booker rejects the Baptism, with the only lasting effect of Elizabeth's action being that Anna is never sold - hence the scene after the credits.Įlizabeth effectively turns a variable into a constant. She breaks the cycle, because if Comstock does not exist, neither can she. More specifically, she does it after he choose to accept the Baptism. Here is how: She doesn't simply kill Booker before he becomes Comstock she does it after the variable in which he does swings in that favor. ![]() Think of each set of possible universes as separate trees Elizabeth goes back in time and plucks the seed out the ground from the Comstock-centric multiverse. The thing you need to keep in mind is that destroying the paradox does not destroy the realities in which Booker keeps on being Booker. The entire point of Bioshock: Infinite is the unmaking of this paradox. It is a paradox, and for anyone who watches Doctor Who, you should know paradoxes should not exist. Anna cannot have the powers she does (and thus causing an opening in reality to exploit) without Comstock retrieving her. ![]() Comstock cannot have access to technology to retrieve Anna without reality being torn a new one because she left her pinky behind in our Booker's multiverse. The problem with the Comstock realities is that they are a self-creating paradox. He either accepts the Baptism (thus creating every Comstock reality) or rejects the Baptism (thus creating every gambling, drunk, baby selling Booker reality). No matter what happens to Booker, he always ends up at the Baptism (much like he never rows, and the coin always lands on heads) this event goes in one of two ways - the variables. If there was no ending scene after the credits where we see Booker not selling Anna, then it would be correct - Elizabeth unmade herself, Comstock - every Booker ever. I really don't think this ending has much room for interpretation what happens is pretty clear. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
